Janet Jackson Makes History as ‘Together Again Tour’ Surpasses $100 Million Gross & 1 Million Tickets Sold

Congratulations to Janet Jackson, fresh off her Icon Award win at the American Music Awards who has secured a whopping $100 million overall gross and 1 million tickets sold on her recently wrapped Together Again tour.

The Together Again tour is Janet’s first tour to gross over $100 million, according to Touring Data. With this milestone, Miss Jackson (if ya nasty) becomes only the sixth Black woman in history to achieve this feat, joining the ranks of Tina Turner, Beyonce, Rihanna, SZA, and Nicki Minaj.

The music legend recently kicked off her Resorts World residency in Las Vegas, and, despite reports that she's been struggling to fill seats at her residency, she just added more dates.

It also shows that while I have been very vocal about Janet stepping her performances up and reinvent her stage shows, it seems the Janet fans prefer that she doesn't reinvent the wheel and stick to the rivers and lakes that they've become accustomed to.
