During the Dec. 30 kick-off show of her Jennifer Lopez: Up All Night Live in Las Vegas residency, the "Let's Get Loud" singer, 56, addressed some of the negativity she sees about herself online.
“Thank God I've been doing this a long time. I can just ignore a lot of it. It really doesn't mean nothing. I tell my kids that all the time," Lopez told the crowd as seen in a TikTok video. "I do laugh at some of the things sometimes, because they do say funny things too," she said before addressing the criticism she's received for her outfits.
"Why she always dressed that way? Why don't she dress her age? Why she always naked? And I said, 'If you had this booty, you’d be naked too,' " she said as she gave the audience a cheeky view of her butt dressed in a barely-there sequin fringe minidress, which she then covered with a feathery skirt.

Lopez's new residency is her first since her last record-breaking residency, Jennifer Lopez: All I Have at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, which ran from 2016 to 2018 with 120 shows that grossed over $100 million. Up All Night will run with three more performances from Dec. 31 to Jan. 3 and will include an additional eight shows in March 2026 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
So far, the spectacle includes what the global superstar is known for — and that's lots of glitz and glamour.
For one of the performances, Lopez wears an old Hollywood-like baby pink feather robe and gown, as well as a coordinating low-plunging corset. She also wears a leggy bedazzled bodysuit inspired by men's tuxedos. Her wardrobe doesn't skimp out on the skin-baring silhouettes either, especially with the star taking the stage in an abs-baring encrusted fringe dress along with a custom Victoria's Secret corseted lace catsuit with web-like details.

Lopez recently sparked buzz for her style after attending a lavish Indian wedding for couple Netra Mantena and Vamsi Gadiraju, who are the Ingenus Pharmaceuticals heiress and co-founder and chief technology officer of U.S.-based software platform, Superorder, respectively.
The lavish nuptials were celebrated over three days in November and included a performance by Lopez, who wore a gold bejeweled thong bodysuit onstage. She also attended the ceremony in a crystal-studded Manish Malhotra couture saree accessorized with a Manish Malhotra High Jewelry necklace of 168 carats of emeralds.
In between her busy schedule, Lopez spent quality time with her loved ones over Christmas. Over the holiday break, Lopez wore matching pajamas with her family as well as a festive '90s-coded dress that bared her cleavage.
