If you’ve watched Drinks & Drag, then you were already aware that I dropped a little tea that Jiggly Caliente would be judging Drag Race Philippines.
Now that Drag Con is upon us (today is the last day, BTW), it’s bee officially announced that the Drag Race season 4 and All Stars 6 alum has been chosen to judge the latest global addition to the franchise.

“I am overjoyed in a major major way to be joining the judges panel for Drag Race Philippines,” Jiggly said in a statement. “There is a fierce Filipino drag scene and I am proud to be returning to my home country in this new role as a Drag Race judge to shine a spotlight on these incredible artists to the world — or the universe, rather. Pak! Mabuhay, Drag Race!”
The Filipino version will also be the first in the international franchise to include episodes of Untucked, so expect lots of bitchiness to ensue.
Jiggly joins a growing list of RuPaul’s Drag Race alums who have went on to either judge or host international editions of Drag Race.
Season 11 runner-up Brooke Lynn Hytes became the first RuGirl to lead one of the series’ judging tables when she was enlisted to preside over Canada’s Drag Race, while season 12 alum Nicky Doll is seto to host Drag Race France.
Meanwhile fellow Drag Race competitor Manila Luzon is also set to host her own Filipino drag competition series called Drag Den. There’s no word on when that series will air.
Drag Race Philippines and Untucked premieres on WoW Presents Plus on August 17.
