It looks like Kim and Kroy's dream mansion, which we've seen on eight seasons of Don't Be Tardy...has now been sold on the auction block after the couple weren't able to get the home out of foreclosure.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum’s Alpharetta home was allegedly sold at auction on Tuesday, November 1.
The $2.6 million Alpharetta mansion Kim shares with her husband, Kroy Biermann, sold at auction on Tuesday for $257,000.
The outlet Bravo and Cocktails reports: “The bid is in. $257,000 is what the former housewife’s house was auctioned for today.”
As we previously reported, a Notice of Sale Under Power was filed after Kim and Kroy “failed to pay back” a $300,000 loan taken out on the property in December 2013. This loan was the couple’s second mortgage on the property. They acquired a $1.65M mortgage in November 2012. That first mortgage seems to be up to date, per county records. It’s unclear why the couple is paying their first and larger mortgage but not their second.
Per county records, the couple modified their second loan at least once in 2018 to help lower the payments.
Kim and Kroy’s home is valued at $2,535,285. The home sits on Manor Golf & Country Club and boasts five bedrooms, and six-and-a-half bathrooms, totaling 6,907-square-foot of living space.
According to some fans, Kim went on Instagram Live on Tuesday, denying claims that her house was auctioned off after falling into foreclosure. Kim reportedly denied being broke, saying that she was broke she would sell all her cars and that the news would have been on TMZ.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta will return to Bravo in mid-2023.
Kim stays lying to save face, and it's unfortunate that she and Kroy are so irresponsible with their finances, that foreclosure has become the end result.
I wonder if she and Kroy ended up moving the entire family into the old townhouse that Big Poppa bought her?
