Following the 67-year-old Queen of Pop’s triumphant surprise performance during Sabrina Carpenter‘s headlining Coachella set over the weekend, her longtime manager was asked about the making of the collaboration, as well as Madonna‘s potential plans for touring.
While attending the Breakthrough Prize Ceremony in Santa Monica, Guy was asked by Variety‘s Marc Malkin on the red carpet about the possibility of a tour alongside Madonna‘s new album, Confessions II.
“Are we gonna see her on tour?” he asked.
“Uh, I’m not sure yet,” Guy responded.
“Do you want to see her on tour?” Marc followed up.
“I want to see her happy, so whatever makes her happy I’m all there for,” Guy said.
The accompanying article with the interview was titled: “Madonna’s Manager Guy Oseary ‘Not Sure’ She’ll Tour Again Following Sabrina Carpenter Coachella Performance and ‘Confessions II’ Release,” to which Guy quickly took to Instagram Story on Monday (April 20) to respond.

“Not true. I was asked ‘are we going to see her on tour’…I said ‘not sure yet’…I never said ‘not sure she’ll tour again’…that’s ridiculous. Of course she will tour again. She wants to share her music with her fans. Not sure yet the plans. Stay tuned!” he wrote along with the headline.
Malkin also asked about Madonna’s guest starring role alongside Julia Garner in the next season of “The Studio” and her ongoing development of a biopic or limited series, Oseary, with a smile, politely declined to comment. “I can’t speak on that,” he said. “I’ll let [Madonna] speak on it.”
At the same time, Madonna just released the intro track from her upcoming album, “I Feel So Free.” Listen and read the lyrics!
