Get ready for some new MJB.
The queen of Hip Hop-Soul revealed to the New York Times that she’s planning to release her latest body of work by year’s end.
As for what we can expect from the project, she says:
“It’s about life, love, struggle, but mostly triumph. Because I’m learning how to rejoice in the valleys and the droughts.”
Mary’s last album, ‘Strength of a Woman,’ came out three years ago and reached the Top 5 on the Billboard 200 chart.
I’m beyond excited for some new music from Auntie Mary, who’s been spending a lot of time getting her thespian on with roles on the first season of Umbrella Academy, and most recently in the film Body Cam.
Speaking of which, Mary released a song from the movie called Can’t Be Life, which was cute.
