MICHAEL B. JORDAN NAMED PEOPLE’S SEXIEST MAN ALIVE

A huge congratulations to Michael B Jordan, who graces the cover of People’s annual Sexiest Man Alive issue. He’s also the youngest man of color to make the cover as well (MBJ is 33).

While that’s definitely something historic, I do find it quite ridiculous that the Sexiest Man Alive issue has been going on for 35 years, and only four black men have graced the cover: Denzel Washington (1996), Dwayne Johnson (2016), Idris Elba (2018), and John Legend (2019).

“It’s a cool feeling,” Michael told the mag about the honor. “You know, everybody always made that joke, like, ‘Mike, this is the one thing you’re probably not going to get.’ But it’s a good club to be a part of.”

MBJ definitely oozes sex appeal, and he’s definitely carved out a steady film career. He’s come a long way from his start as Reggie Montgomery on All My Children, and rumors are swirling that he’s set to make his directorial debut with Creed 3.

Whatever direction Michael decides to take, he’s definitely got a long career ahead of him.
