Michael Myers looks menacing AF in a brand new Halloween Kills shot, courtesy of Total Film.
Here’s what director David Gordon Green revealed in the magazine about what we can expect from the film:
“It’s one thing to be afraid of the Bogey Man, to have someone who might be in the closet, under the bed, creeping around your house. But what we wanted to explore next was confusion, misinformation, and paranoia. What happens when fear goes viral? You can’t just stick your head under the covers any more.”
“When we made the last one we wanted to find a way for someone who’s never seen the original to get up to speed with the story,” he continues. “But this one gets right to the action. It’s very aggressive. It’s more efficient. We wanted it to be an explosive middle before things get streamlined and personal again.”
The cast includes Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak and Robert Longstreet, with original Halloween actor Charles Cyphers returning as Sheriff Leigh Brackett.
Anthony Michael Hall also stars in the new film as Tommy Doyle, and Kyle Richards and Nancy Stephens reprise their roles as Lindsey Wallace and Nurse Marion Chambers, respectively.
Gordon Green wrote the script with Danny McBride and Scott Teems.
The current theatrical release date for Halloween Kills is October 15, 2021.
Based on this shot I’m guessing from the trailer that was released back in October this is Michael looking down at Andi’s character, who was screaming at the bottom of the stairwell. I’m also going to guess that we’re inside the infamous Myers house.
