It's been seven years since Madame X, the last album released from the Queen of Pop Madonna. A lot has happened in her personal life and her career since then, but what got longtime fans excited was when she announced last year that she had reunited with Confessions on a Dance Floor producer Stuart Price to cook up a new album.
While we wait with baited breath for the album's official first single (rumored to drop in February), the singer has released a cover of La Bambola, a cover of provocative Italian pop icon Patty Pravo's classic song.
Pravo is known for her androgynous style and provocative songs like "Pensiero Stupendo," which celebrated a ménage à trois, making her a culturally significant artist for someone like Madonna to cover.

The song is also for a new perfume campaign by Dolce and Gabbana, who is the campaign's current face.
While upon first listen the deepness of her voice took me aback a bit, I must say the cover is quite seductive. Take a listen to La Bambola below.
