The Masked Singer host, 44, appeared on the Really Good Podcast with Bobbi Althoff and was asked by the influencer why he has so many kids. Cannon, who shares 12 kids with six different women, joked that it's because he thinks of himself as a king.

“Why do I have so many kids? I have a king complex,” Cannon responded. “You know, Black men, we always be like, ‘What’s up king?’ "

“I really think I’m the king,” he continued.

“So you need to have… do kings have a lot of kids?” Athoff asked, to which Cannon responded, "yeah."

The podcast host then went on to ask Cannon if he could list all 12 of his kids' names.

“I usually get in trouble,” Cannon replied. He then attempted to list all of his children, ultimately leaving out two.

“I know all of them, but like. Here we go. I’ll lay them all out for you," Cannon continued. "Keep me honest. There’s Roc, Roe, Golden, Powerful, Rise, Onyx, Legendary, Zion, Zillion, Zen, and….see this is where. How many [are left?]”

“You’re missing two,” Althoff pointed out. “I’m missing two,” the dad of 12 agreed.

Cannon shares twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey; sons Golden Sagon and Rise Messiah Cannon and daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell; twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa; son Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi; and daughter Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole.

He is also father to son Zen, who died at 5 months old in December 2021 after being diagnosed with brain cancer, and daughter Halo, 2, with Alyssa Scott.

While speaking with PEOPLE recently, Cannon opened up about comments he made about not being ready to rule out the possibility of having more kids in the future. After his comments went viral, Cannon shared that he received a call from his grandmother, asking if he had another child.

"My grandmother called me last night, like 'Another One!' I was like, 'Calm down,' " he recalled.

The Drumline star explained that while he's "not against it," he won't be welcoming any little ones any time soon.

"I really don't know. I'm being honest. I'm having so much fun in this space right now, and the way my bank account is set up, I'm going to press hold on this 12 for right now," he told PEOPLE. "But. I was just speaking of three years from now [or] five years from now, who knows? I'm not against it."

"There was a point in time where I was just like, 'Nah, I'm done.' And, then I was like, 'Who am I to say that?' " he added. "It seemed like it was such an emphatic thing. I never imagined that I would have 12 kids. So, it's one of those things where I love children. I love my life, and if it could keep going in the direction that it's going, why not?"
