P Valley Renewed For Two More Seasons

It looks like we'll be spending a little more time in Chuckaleesa, Mississppi, because B Scott is exclusively reporting that P Valley has been renewed for two more seasons at Starz.

According to sources, the reason for the renewal delay was due to some behind-the-scenes drama that made the show's creator and writer Katori Hall reluctant to sign on.

Apparently she felt Starz wasn't treating P Valley with the same respect that they did their other original programs, such as 50 Cent's 8,000 Power spin-offs, despite P Valley being a huge ratings hit among fans and critics.

Katori and Starz has made amends (I'm guessing Starz had a change of heart after 50 Cent decided to part ways with the network and is shopping his Power spinoffs elsewhere), and the third season will be back in 2024.

No word on which cast members will be returning, but it's already been reported that Elarica Johnsln, who played Autumn Knight won't be back.

P Valley is one of my favorite shows on TV right now, and I'm glad we're getting two more seasons. I'm just upset we have to wait until 2024 to see it.
