Ky Frost, the son of Kirk and Rasheeda Frost, has been officially cleared by law enforcement in the shooting death of rising rapper, T-Hood.
According to Gwinnett County Police, the evidence points to Frost acting in self-defense during a violent confrontation at a private residence. Their investigation determined that T-Hood was the aggressor that night and initiated the fight before pulling a gun on Ky.
A police official confirmed, “Tevin Hood physically attacked Ky and displayed a weapon. Ky responded with lethal force to protect himself.”
Detectives say Frost fired first, striking T-Hood fatally. Officials also revealed that T-Hood had a documented history of violence, including an earlier domestic assault involving Ky’s sister.
While police are confident in their findings, the District Attorney’s Office will make the final decision on whether charges will be filed. For now, Ky is not facing any legal consequences, but that could change based on how the D.A. interprets the case file.
T-Hood’s family is demanding justice, especially since reports say the artist was shot in the back.
Kirk and Rasheeda have not commented publicly on the situation.
