Over a decade after her tenure ended on The View, former cohost Rosie O’Donnell is still firing off Hot Topics-worthy takes related to the show.

One day, after Republican star Ana Navarro scolded fellow panelists Sara Haines and ex-Donald Trump staffer Alyssa Farah Griffin for joking during a discussion about celebrities attending the White House for a dinner with the president, O’Donnell cosigned on Navarro’s shutting down her colleagues on air.

“I love Ana,” the 64-year-old comedian and actress wrote in response to a fan-made video condemning Haines and Griffin’s behavior during the Tuesday-morning segment, which saw Navarro raise her hand and advise her peers that the topic was “not funny” to her. (The View later edited the tense moment out of a clip from the broadcast shared to the program’s Instagram page.)

O’Donnell also reposted the video to her Instagram profile, further sharing the message of the clip to her followers.

Entertainment Weekly has reached out to a representative for Haines and Griffin at The View for comment on O’Donnell’s remark.

After Navarro expressed disinterest in ever having dinner with someone she despises as much as Trump over what his administration has done to the Latino community via immigration raids, Haines joked, “It’s not Lady and the Tramp, you’re not going to slurp pasta,” while Griffin — whom Navarro has long clashed with — laughed at the comment.

“No, but, listen, stop, this is not funny!” Navarro said, raising her hand in the air as she shut down both of her colleagues in the moment.

Navarro has a long history of on-air tension with Griffin, upon both women permanently joining the talk show’s panel in 2022 after the latter resigned from Trump’s first-term communications team and subsequently spoke out against him.

When EW asked Navarro in a recent interview about why she and Griffin are the only two View cohosts not following each other on Instagram (after years of tension, including rolled eyes and accusations of a toxic workplace dynamic), the former political strategist shut the inquiry down.

“Oh, I’m not going to answer that. I don’t want to talk about… if I was going to talk about The View, I’d have to have The View PR on with us. Don’t ask me questions about The View. I’m not going to answer them without letting The View PR know that I’m doing a conversation about it,” Navarro said in the interview pegged to her new Bleep! podcast.

Meanwhile, O’Donnell’s team also recently cited Navarro as the reason the Emmy-winning comedian said on a recent podcast that she would definitely return to The View for season 30. The star’s reps claimed in a prior statement to EW that Navarro “mentioned [to O’Donnell] coming to Season 30 of The View as a guest (at some point during the season),” without a formal invitation from the show’s staff.
