Slayyyter to Release ‘Brother Album’ to ‘Wor$t Girl in America’: ‘Wor$t Man in America’

Slayyyter has announced that “Wor$t Man in America,” the “brother” album to “Wor$t Girl in America,” is slated for release on December 4 via RECORDS/Columbia Records.

Described as a “brother” album, Wor$t Man will feature nine new songs, all of which are connected thematically and/or sonically to the tracks on Wor$t Girl. Slayyyter teased the album with two previously released tracks: “Crank 2” and “Beat Up Chanel$,” which offered fresh takes on Wor$t Girl tracks “Crank” and “Brand New Chanel$,” respectively. 

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Slayyyter explained the impetus for Wor$t Man in America, saying, “I want to live here for a little longer, so I’m kind of making an inverse album, if you will. I just want the core of everything to feel like me, because it finally feels that.”

Slayyyter has been teasing “Wor$t Man in America” since she launched her tour in July. During opening night in Missouri, she debuted the project’s first single “brand new chanel$” as well as additional cuts “nekromantik!,” “crank 2” and “i think he’s got a girl,” all of which are included on “Wor$t Man in America.” She followed later that week with the official release of “brand new chanel$,” and in September, she dropped the official version of “crank 2” on streaming.

The announcement of Wor$t Man in America comes the day after Slayyyter wrapped her headlining North American tour with a pair of shows in New York City and in Brooklyn. Later this week, she’ll head to Lawrence, Kansas to open a show for Turnstile, after which she’ll head to South America, Europe, and the U.K. for a run of dates that’ll last through early November. Gigs in Australia and New Zealand will follow in early 2027. 

Wor$t Girl in America followed Slayyyter’s 2021 debut, Troubled Paradise, and 2023 sophomore effort, Starfucker. Speaking to Rolling Stone, she described those as the “building blocks to figuring out my sound,” which finally cracked on Wor$t Girl. “It took me a long time,” she added. “This could have never been my debut album.”
