Stephen Lang, who played the “Blind Man” in the Fede Alvarez hit horror film Don’t Breathe took to Twitter to reveal he’s wrapped filming on the highly-anticipated sequel in Belgrade.

Alvarez did not return to direct the sequel, rumored to be titled Don’t Breathe Again. Instead the sequel was directed by Rodo Sayagues, the co-writer of Don’t Breathe, and Alvarez’s Evil Dead remake.
“Don’t Breathe 2 is set several years after the home invasion of the first movie, with the Blind Man living in quiet solace…until his past sins catch up to him.”

In Don’t Breathe 2, the Blind Man has been hiding out for years in an isolated cabin and has taken in and raised a young girl orphaned from a house fire.
Their quiet existence is shattered when a group of kidnappers show up and take the girl, forcing the Blind Man to leave his safe haven to save her.
I actually like this direction for the sequel, turning the Blind Man, who was the villain in the first film into the film’s protagonist.
No word if Jane Levy, who played a thief that survived the first film will return in the sequel, or of the movie will just wipe the slate clean and kick off an entirely new story.
I loved the first film, and I’m definitely excited to see the trailer the moment it drops.
