Stylist Law Roach To Co-Host E! Fashion Competition Show ‘OMG Fashun’

Law Roach may have “retired” from the world of celebrity styling, but he hasn’t left the fashion world behind completely.

According to reports, he’s joining the cast of OMG Fashun, an upcoming design competition show for the E! Network.

Last year, Deadline revealed that Julia Fox was working on the project with NBCUniversal in September and the series now has a premiere date and a promo trailer.

The series, which comes from Queer Eye producer Scout Productions, will launch on May 6.

Each episode will see three fashion “disrupters” create a new look using materials and techniques that would make “fashion’s so-called gatekeepers squirm” in order to impress Fox, Roach and a guest judge. The winner each week will win a $10,000 cash prize and get their garment modeled by Fox.

Law is best known for his work with stars such as Zendaya and Celine Dion and was a judge on Max competition series Legendary.

Rob Eric, David Collins, Michael Williams, Renata Lombardo and Julia Fox will executive produce.

OMG Fashun is shaping the future of fashion, emphasizing sustainability, upcycling, and creative craftsmanship to restore integrity to this art form,” said Fox. “Being the most stylish person in the room doesn’t require breaking the bank; all it takes is creativity and a dash of confidence. My biggest hope is that our viewers will get inspired by what we create on the show and recreate the looks at home using all their old junk they have lying around!”

“Julia is a tour de force in the industry and a champion for up-and-coming designers,” added Rachel Smith, EVP of Unscripted Content, Lifestyle and Documentaries, NBCUniversal Entertainment. “This show celebrates fashion’s newest disruptors as they push the boundaries for their ultimate muse, Julia, and we’re excited to share their original and unique perspectives with our audience.”

Law may have retired from being a celebrity stylist, but while I'm glad he has a new gig post Legendary, after watching last night's episode of RuPaul's Drag Race I really think the show needs to replace Carson Kressley and Ross Matthews with Law and Ts Madison.
