TYLER POSEY CALLS JOINING ONLYFANS MENTALLY DRAINING

Months after joining OnlyFans, actor Tyler Posey is finally opening up about his experience creating content for the site, calling it “mentally draining.”

“You really feel like an object on OnlyFans,” Posey shared in an interview with E!’s The Rundown. “I’m trying my hardest to be artistic as possible with the content I put out ’cause I don’t want it to just be porn, you know? That’s not what I do and I don’t want to take it away from the people that are doing that.”

The 29-year-old former Teen Wolf star added, “I just want to be artistic and stay in touch with my fans.”

The actor joined OnlyFans in September of 2020 as a way to overcome his body insecurities. He loves being nude, and while Instagram draws a fine line between nude as art and pornography, you can get away with a lot more on OnlyFans.

“I love being nude because… you’re not born wearing clothes, so I want to go out the same way that I came in,” he continued. “I want to die naked, and since 2020 has been a little scary, I feel I could die any second now, so I want to be ready.”

Another challenge he faces that separates him from pornography and other depictions of graphic sexuality is that the actor just can’t take himself seriously when he’s in the buff, no matter who might be watching.

“If I’m going to be somewhat nude, I want to not take myself seriously and be kind of funny,” he said. “I just can’t pose naked and take myself seriously.”

“It’s weird, it feels stupid, I feel like an object,” he continued. “I’m still figuring out my footing in it and we’ll see where it goes.”

He also revealed that he’s experimented with sexual role play in the bedroom as a way to gain some confidence.

“It’s never been done for me, it’s always been done for my partner,” he said. “So I’m not always wanting to role play that hard, but I’m always down for it.”

Speaking of experimentation, last fall Posey opened up to his social media followers explaining that he considers himself somewhat pansexual and “has hooked up with guys,” and also hooked up with a trans sex worker during a trip to Amsterdam.

He explained his coming out of sorts in an interview on SiriusXM’s The Jason Ellis Show.

“I woke up one morning and I saw all this stuff on Instagram about these transsexual women who were being beaten and harassed, and there were a bunch of people that were filming the whole entire interaction and laughing at them,” Posey told Ellis.

“Originally I was just shedding light on that, through whatever way that I could,” he added. “And, then I was hit with wanting just to come out myself with that whole thing and be honest about it.”

I can understand why Tyler may find it emotionally draining to create content, especially when his ex girlfriend Bella Thorne duped her fans by charging them $200 to see her naked on the popular site.

There are actual people, most notably sex workers who are using the site to make a living, and I’m sure they’re struggling with some sort of anxiety as well with the constant pressure to consistently create content.

With celebrities jumping on the bandwagon, it’s hard to taken them seriously, especially when there’s a fine line they have to draw in regards to how far they will go with the content they create, and if said content will affect them being taken seriously when it comes to their entertainment careers and business endorsements.

If you’re going to dive into any form of art that requires being nude, you really have to have a thick skin going in, because the judgement from so many opinionated people on social media can eventually take it’s toll.

It’s also good if you have a good support system behind you, who won’t judge your decisions, whether it’s a career in porn or Skinemax-level nudity.
