VIDEO: MELANIE C – IN AND OUT OF LOVE

This morning Sporty Spice herself Melanie C dropped the pop-tastic visual for her latest single, In and Out of Love, and might I say it’s great to see her enjoying herself.

Not only is she serving fierce costumes, and choreography, but she also announced she’s dropping her eighth solo album, entitled Melanie C on October 2.

“It’s so brilliant to release a pure pop, upbeat, positive fun tune. I think it’s exactly what the world needs right now!” Melanie C said of the song. The choreography-filled music video, directed by Graham Cruz, was filmed at London’s Alexandra Palace.

I also can’t believe it’s been 21 years since her solo release Northern Star, which gave us I Turn To You (I still play the Hex Hector remix).

I also love that after two decades of experimenting with her sound, and trying to prove that she’s got talent beyond what the industry wants her to do, that she’s embracing her pop roots with this new album.
