VIDEO: TOVE LO – NO ONE DIES FROM LOVE
One of my favorite Swedish dance pop singers Tove Lo is back with a brand new single and video for her single No One Dies From Love, the first release off her own label Pretty Swede via mtheory.
Here’s what Tove had to say about forming her new label: “It’s amazing — I have a lot of freedom, and it’s been fun to work with mtheory. This will be the first release under my label. I’m a pop girl, but I like to make things weird and be in full control of the whole vision. This is the perfect way to put out exactly what I want.”
The song, which Tove co-wrote with Ludvig Söderberg is about being in love with someone for a long time, and when you break up it feels like a part of you has died.
The retrofuturistic video, which features Tove falling in love with a fembot was shot in Mexico City, and was directed by Alaska, the same duo who shot her video for Are You Gonna Tell Her?
No word on when her fifth album will be released, but you can check out No One Dies From Love below…
