Could an epic showdown be brewing between frenemies Kathy Griffin and Andy Cohen?
In a twist wilder than any Housewives finale, bitter foes Andy Cohen and Kathy Griffin are — wait for it — inching toward a televised confrontation. And insiders say Kathy has one non-negotiable: neutral ground where Bravo can’t swoop in to buff Andy’s image with a “glowing edit.”
Sources tell #ShuterScoop that the pair’s shocking pre-BravoCon email exchange cracked open a door long thought super-glued shut. “Kathy told her team point-blank: if she’s doing this, it’s gotta be live, unedited, and far away from Andy’s home turf,” one insider spills. “She doesn’t trust Bravo to keep their hands off it — and honestly, she’s not wrong.”
The early concept? A one-night-only, no-cuts,, no-safety-net special where the two finally air nearly a decade of grievances. “It would be massive television,” another industry source says. “These two have history, resentment, and absolutely no filter. America would watch every second.”
No contracts signed yet, but interest is heating up across multiple networks eager for a ratings earthquake.
If a deal lands, TV insiders are already calling it the biggest celebrity confrontation since the very first Housewives reunion — and nobody is prepared for the fallout.

While this would make for good TV, it would be a mistake on Kathy's part to even entertain the idea of coming face to face with a thirsty opportunist like Andy.
Kudos to him for sending her a strongly worded email, but if I were her I would just continue to pound the pavement as a comic, and live my best life. Andy showed you what type of "friend" he was to you. I would trust him as far as anyone would dare to throw him.
But wait...there's more! Apparently Rob is also reporting that Kathy is ready to forgive Andy for backstabbing her, but he is scared to have a one on one with the comic because he can't control the narrative like he would when interviewing those white collar criminal Bravolebrities.
Andy is worried about what might spill out if he’s ever face-to-face with her. A Bravo source whispered to Rob, “If Kathy steps onto his set, she’s going to speak her truth. Amazing TV, insane ratings — but Andy can’t control her. And that scares him to death.” One insider hissed, “Andy’s entire image is curated within an inch of its life… and Kathy knows too much.”
This is what happens when colleagues don't know how to keep it as strictly business. When you develop friendships outside of the workforce, and you know where the bodies are buried, with Kathy no longer a Bravo talent, who knows what may spill out of her mouth. And as someone who would be here for the messy tea I am here for all the shenanigans.
