Kathryn Newton & Nick Jonas to Star in Holiday Horror Film ‘White Elephant’ from ‘Tucker & Dale’ Director

Nick Jonas (Power Ballad) and Kathryn Newton (Ready or Not 2: Here I Come) are set to star in MRC‘s holiday horror flick White Elephant, the first project under their partnership with Radio Silence and Project X, dubbed RSPX, oriented around inventive and engaging horror and thriller projects.

Eli Craig (Tucker and Dale vs Evil, Clown in a Cornfield) is directing from a script he co-wrote with JT Billings (“Are You Afraid of the Dark?”), with Radio Silence (Ready or Not, Scream 5-6) producing.

The logline reads: “Eight friends. One prize. Zero trust. Their annual festive holiday gift exchange spirals into a cutthroat game of Christmas carnage.”

The project is the first under MRC’s partnership with Radio Silence and Project X, dubbed RSPX, oriented around inventive and engaging horror and thriller projects.

Spencer Berman, Nick Jonas, William Sherak, Paul Neinstein, James Vanderbilt, Tyler Gillett, and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin are producing, with Billings, Ryan McDonough, Amanda Drake, Newton, Scott Levine, and Chad Villella executive producing.
