Lil Nas X 'Hospitalized for Possible Overdose' After Half Naked Star Seen Behaving Erratically in Street at 4AM

Grammy-winning rapper Lil Nas X was hospitalized early Thursday morning following a bizarre and troubling incident on a major Los Angeles street, prompting concerns of a possible overdose, authorities confirmed.

TMZ reports the rapper, 26, was exhibiting erratic behavior on Ventura Boulevard early Thursday morning, prompting several people in the Studio City neighborhood to report to the LAPD.

According to TMZ, those reporting the incident said they had seen a nude man making his way down the street. 

He was still walking down the road when he was found by officers, and allegedly charged at them before being subdued and handcuffed.

The cops informed paramedics the situation was a possible overdose, and they took the Old Town Road singer to the hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.

The rapper could possibly face charges over the incident, law enforcement sources told TMZ.

Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Lil Nas X for comment but did not immediately hear back.

In footage of the scene captured by a driver and obtained by TMZ, Lil Nas X sings, talks repeatedly about a party, strikes poses, and asks the cameraperson for their phone.

He was even pictured placing an orange traffic cone over his head.

'Hey, don't be late to the party tonight,' Lil Nas X tells the person behind the camera. 'You know where it's at,' he says after being for the location.

'Go ahead babe,' he urges the driver, waving his hand towards the road. 'Go ahead babe,' he repeats.

'Didn't I tell you to put the phone down?' he later asks. 'Uh-oh, somebody's going to have to pay for that!'

'It's going to be a beautiful sunrise,' he continues before stretching out his hand. 'Give me that phone so I can throw it. I'm going to throw it far away so you never see it again. I don't like phones.'

'Don't miss the party tonight! Why are you still here? You need to be telling everybody about the f**king party girl, what's your problem?'
