Nicki Minaj Accused Of Being ‘Scared’ Of Beyoncé After Removing Her Name From Post During SZA Feud

Did Nicki Minaj just throw shade Beyoncé‘s way?

The internet has been sounding off after many noticed Nicki Minaj edited Beyoncé’s name out of a post amid her recent feud with SZA.

In the original post, Nicki accused SZA of previously disparaging several fellow celebs, writing,

“Btch used to be on twitter dissing Rihanna, bey, etc.”

But users quickly noticed that she later swapped out Beyoncé’s name for Ciara, sparking speculation that Nicki was trying to avoid backlash from Beyoncé and the BeyHive.

As reported, Nicki and SZA started exchanging heated messages after SZA made a post that Nicki believed was aimed at her.

While some felt that SZA’s post had nothing to do with the Super Bass rapper, others argued the timing was funny, given it came as Nicki called out SZA’s former manager, TDE Punch.

Punch took to social media to promote a song called Broken Barbies by an artist he's working with named Iamlyric. Nicki apparently took offense to the song thinking it was in reference to her and decided to go scorched earth on Punch.

SZA jumped on the line and wrote in response on Twitter: "Mercury retrograde...don't take the bait lol silly goose."

While SZA didn't name Minaj specifically, Nicki quickly responded with the following shady tweet: "Go draw your freckles back on bookie."

SZA clapped back at Nicki by saying, "I don't give a fuck bout none of that weird shit you popping."

This morning (7/16) Lauren Larosa from The Breakfast Club hit up Punch to find out what was the tea, and he said that back in 2020 Nicki hit him up asking for a feature with SZA. He told Nicki that SZA was in heavy album mode, and that he would get it over to her. That was the last time they spoke. The feature never happened, and he also said he's just as confused as majority of us trying to follow along with this story.

FYI: Nicki also shared an old tweet, allegedly from SZA, where she called Rihanna and Ciara bad singers, as well as another post claiming Beyoncé was starting to look “more like Madonna every day.” The posts reportedly date back to 2011.

Speaking of Beyoncé, the BeyHive started buzzing around the rapper when she tweeted a post with the following quote, “The bull I ride is not mechanical” which some felt was referring to the Crazy in Love singer who is currently on her Cowboy Carter tour.

While the BeyHive took offense to Nicki's post, the Barbz were quick to point out that the quote is from her 2023 track “Cowgirl.” Still, the timing of the post and decision to highlight that bar in particular has Bey fans hitting Nicki and her followers with the side-eye because it wasn't that long ago that the rapper found herself beefing online (by herself) with Jay Z, who she claims owes her $200,000,000 in connection to her equity in TIDAL. Check out the Barbz’s and BeyHive‘s reactions below.
