Nicole Kidman Files for Divorce from Keith Urban After 19 Years of Marriage

Nicole Kidman is formally starting her new chapter.

The filing comes just one day after Page Six reported the couple had split following 19 years of marriage.

“Sometimes relationships just run their course,” a source told us at the time, adding that Kidman “did not want the separation and was trying to save things.”

Reps for Kidman and Urban did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The actress and the country music singer have been living apart “since the beginning of summer,” multiple sources told TMZ, which was first to break the news.

In the midst of their split, Kidman has reportedly been caring for the couple’s two children — Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14 — while Urban has reportedly moved out of their Nashville, Tenn., home.

“[Kidman is] holding the family together through this difficult time since Keith has been gone,” a source claimed, referring to his current tour.

Urban has since purchased his own property in the same city.

Urban appeared to hint at some of his marital issues with Kidman in a suspicious social media move months ago.

After Kidman shared a touching social media tribute to her husband on their 19th wedding anniversary, many sleuthing fans couldn’t help but notice that the “You’ll Think Of Me” singer, 57, did not share a post of his own and responded with a simple heart emoji on Kidman’s post.

Kidman hasn’t been spotted on Urban’s social media since his May 9 post when he received the Triple Crown Award.

Rumors of marital troubles swirled in June after Urban abruptly ended a Zoom interview when he was asked about his feelings on Kidman, 58, filming steamy love scenes with Zac Efron in their 2024 Netflix movie, “A Family Affair.”

“What does Keith Urban think when he sees his beautiful wife with beautiful younger men like Zac Efron having these beautiful love scenes on TV?” the interviewer asked at the time, but was met with a cold shoulder as Urban ended the call.
