While receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at the second annual SpeakOut “I AM” Awards in D.C. last night,TV and film director Patrik Ian Polk revealed that there is indeed more Noah's Arc on the way.

This drama series follows the lives and relationships of four gay men in Los Angeles.

“I am very happy to confirm that there is indeed more Noah’s Arc coming,” said Polk during his lifetime achievement award acceptance speech.

The original cast — Darryl Stephens (Noah), Jensen Atwood (Wade), Christian Vincent (Ricky), and Rodney Chester (Alex) — showed up at the ceremony to present Polk with his award.

Actor/director Doug Spearman (Chance) couldn't make the event, but he did send in a heartfelt video to thank Polk for his legacy in both the industry and within his career.

On an episode of The Real Friends of WeHo earlier this year, Patrik appeared in a scene with actor Curtis Hamilton, and during their conversation mentioned that a new Noah's Arc project was in the works.

Darryl Stephens took to Twitter and shared further details on the upcoming project, revealing that the film was secretly shot in Atlanta, and will air later this year on MTV.

I have to say this is great news since Noah's Arc was one of my favorite shows until Logo ended up canceling it for no reason after two seasons.

I hope they take the Sex and the City approach via ...And Just Like That, and have the characters explore what it's like to be an older black gay man on 2023.

I also hope they explore how they balance love, friendships, sex, careers and gay society's obsession with youth culture.

When the film officially airs on MTV, y'all better show out and make sure the ratings break records.

That way, Viacom will know we really want a Noah's Arc revival in the form of a proper 10-12 episode series.

Either way, you guys have no idea how hyped I am over this news.

In the meantime, Noah's Arc is available to watch on YouTube and Logo.
