The "Love on the Brain" singer, 37, and partner A$AP Rocky are expecting their third baby together, they revealed at the 2025 Met Gala in New York City on Monday, May 5.
Her photographer Miles Diggs revealed the news on Instagram ahead of the red carpet, posting a photo of the pregnant singer in the rain with her baby bump on full display.
In an interview with Page Six in December 2023, Rihanna said that her relationship with Rocky, 36, has gotten deeper since the couple welcomed their two kids together — sons Riot Rose, 21 months, and RZA Athelston, who turns 3 this month.
"I love him differently as a dad. This is major, major .. it's a turn on," she told the outlet. "It's just like, wow. What a leader, what a great, patient loving ... and my kids are obsessed with him."

In November 2023, the dad of two was asked by Complex if he would ever consider collaborating with Rihanna on a project at Puma — where they both work as creative directors on their respective lines — but he didn’t quite have business on his mind.
“What could we team up and just like f---ing smash and go crazy on?” Rocky pondered in response to the question.
“I think we do a real great job at collaborating and making children," he eventually answered. “I think that’s our best creation so far. Nothing’s better than that.”
Rihanna is used to revealing her pregnancies on high-profile stages, having done so during her Super Bowl 2023 Halftime Show when expecting son Riot. The latter event marked the first pregnant woman to star in the halftime show.
Rihanna played up the big reveal in the opening moments of her performance, rubbing her stomach and leaving the zipper of her outfit — a jumpsuit layered over a close-fitting bodysuit and sculpted bandeau — down to reveal her belly.

Rihanna first revealed in January 2022 that she was expecting her first child with Rocky. After she was photographed debuting her baby bump in New York City, a source told PEOPLE at the time that the singer was "excited to be a mom" and "couldn't be happier."
Speaking to Interview Magazine in April 2024, the "SOS" singer was asked by stylist Mel Ottenberg how many more kids she wanted to have.
"As many as God wants me to have," Rihanna responded, going on to say when asked if it's more than two, "I don't know what God wants, but I would go for more than two."
"I would try for my girl. But of course if it's another boy, it's another boy," she added.
