Stefon Diggs Sues Influencer For Defamation Over Sexual Assault Allegations

ree

Stefon Diggs is going after a social media star who accused him of drugging, sexually assaulting and later conspiring to kill him ... with the NFL star calling the claims pure fiction!!

The New England Patriots star claimed in the court docs, filed on Oct. 1 and obtained by TMZ, that the “would-be social media influencer” concocted a false story about an alleged incident that went down at Diggs’ Rockville, MD., home in May 2023.

In the suit, Diggs claimed he, Griffith and other influencers went to a club after attending a charity basketball game in Washington, DC. After the club outing, everyone went back to the wide receiver’s home.

Per the docs obtained by TMZ, Diggs claimed he went into his bedroom and his assistant asked Griffith to leave the home.

However, two years later, Griffith took to social media, alleging that Diggs “drugged and attempted to sexually assault” him and allegedly conspired to have him killed.

In the suit, Diggs claimed that Griffith not only posted the allegations to his nearly 100,000 Instagram followers online, but also tagged Ugg and actress Sarah Jessica Parker, who posed with the NFL star for the footwear company’s campaign.

Diggs, 31, is seeking damages and attorneys’ fees; however, the exact amount is undisclosed.

In a statement to Page Six, Griffith’s attorney, Jake Lebowitz of Posey Lebowitz PLLC, denied Diggs’ “fabricated” claims.

“Mr. Griffith is looking forward to showing the world in Court that regardless of the fairy tale fabricated by Mr. Diggs’ high-priced New York Lawyers, he is the victim of Mr. Diggs’ unwanted sexual advances and his brother’s violent attacks,” Lebowitz told us.

“Not only will we defend against these false allegations but our counterclaims for sexual battery will be filed shortly,” the attorney added.

In August, Griffith took to his Instagram Stories, saying he was “disgusted” that Ugg hired Diggs to be the face of their campaign after the social media star filed a police report about their alleged 2023 encounter earlier that month.

Griffith also shared a copy of the report, in which he claimed the former Houston Texans star “drugged and sexually assaulted” him on May 22, 2023, and then “conspired” to have him killed to “suppress his gay/bisexual secrets from becoming exposed.”

In the police report, Griffith claimed Diggs offered him “candy” that the former did not know was “laced with drugs.”

He then claimed Diggs allegedly “put his tongue” in Griffith’s ear in a “kissing” fashion.

Griffith also claimed in the police report that he was confronted by three people who asked him to remain quiet about what had allegedly taken place.

He claimed he was then “stripped” of his clothing, “robbed” of his belongings, “beaten and forced into a car” to travel to an unknown location. Diggs has denied the claims.

The former Minnesota Vikings player welcomed a baby with his girlfriend, rapper Cardi B, earlier this month.

Diggs is also a dad to daughters Nova and Charliee, whom he shares with two different women.

In September 2025, Page Six reported that a woman named Aileen Lopera filed a paternity suit against Diggs, claiming that he was the father of her daughter, Charliee, who was born that April. The paternity test later confirmed Diggs was the father.
