Tamar Braxton’s Dentist Confirms She Fractured Multiple Teeth & Broke Her Septum In Apparent Sleepwalking Accident

Tamar Braxton’s dentist, Dr. Amira, is speaking out about the singer’s traumatic fall, which Tamar says nearly k*lled her, and says sleepwalking may have been the cause.

Tamar Braxton gave her dentist permission to share graphic details from her recent “near-death experience.” The clip, shared by Dr. Amira Ogunleye, who is based in Miami, according to her official website, explained the extent of the singer’s oral injuries after a health scare. In her caption, the medical professional revealed the full extent of Tamar Braxton’s trauma as “multiple dental fractures, a nasal fracture,” and a “tooth completely knocked out of the socket.”

“She did in fact have several fractured teeth,” detailed Dr. Ogunleye in the explainer. “She even had an avulsed tooth, which is a tooth completely out of the socket. She also appeared to have a fractured septum.”

She continued, “We were able to perform immediate oral surgery on her, and we were able to stabilize her for now, as she continues to heal. However, she will require several appointments to get her fully to her original smile.”

Earlier this month, the “Let Me Know” performer shared harrowing details of an alleged medical emergency where she woke up in a pool of blood.

“I struggled to write this but everyone keeps calling me and honestly, I can’t even really talk anymore. I’m so weak,” explained the 48-year-old. “I almost died Sunday. I was found in a pool of blood from my friend with a face injury. As the days go by, the worse it is.”

She continued to detail, “I fractured my nose, lost some teeth and mobility. The way I look at life now is totally different. As my health is on the mend my mental journey begins.. pray for me for real. I don’t even know what happened to me.”

As the reality star recovers, she has begun the rollout process for her upcoming “real life heart break album story and movie,” titled Heartbreak Retrograde. Due on Sept. 19, 2025, the visuals star Mendeecees Harris of Love and Hip-Hop.

“There is a time where a man stops being a h*e, right??” questioned the singer in the teaser clip.

It's cute and all that she has her dentist coming to her defense. However that doesn't negate the hell Funky Dineva had to go through via nosy fans on social media, after she made a vague post regarding her incident on social media.

If it were a slaapwalking incident, why not say that from the jump? Instead you left Funky to take the fall for something he had nothing to do with.

As Funky is the latest celebrity to be added to the list, Tamar has beef with her own sisters, Kandi Burruss, Tiny Harris, K Michelle, Monica, Jessie Woo, Iyanla Vanzant, Craig Stewart from Phag Tawlk, Claudia Jordan, and former The Real co-hosts Loni Love and Adrienne Bailon, to name a few.

With all those celebrities that I named at some point you have to look in the mirror and ask yourself, "am I the drama?"

So you can't start the drama, claim you want peace after you're called out by people who aren't afraid to hold you accountable, and continue to act like a chaos demon.

She needs real friends around her that will be honest with her. However when a lot of people are on your payroll, and those so-called friends are afraid to criticize you out of fear they will be denied access to the things that come with your fame if they hold a mirror up to your shenanigans -- why would they risk rocking the boat.

The best thing for Funky to do from this point on is stop messing with messy fish, block her from everything, and go about his business.
