‘One Piece’ Season 2 Sets March Release Date, Drops First Look at Luffy on Drum Island

It’s time to set sail again: Netflix has announced that One Piece season 2 will premiere on March 10, 2026.

The live-action adaptation of “One Piece” follows the misadventures of a group known as the Straw Hat Pirates as they sail in search of finding the “One Piece,” a legendary treasure found and hidden by Gold Roger, the former King of the Pirates.
Stars Iñaki Godoy, Emily Rudd, Mackenyu, Jacob Romero Gibson, Taz Skyler, Morgan Davies and Jeff Ward will return for Season 2. Season 1 of “One Piece” ended with Monkey D. Luffy and the rest of the crew celebrating their victory over Arlong after fighting him. After the pirates save Conomi Islands, the crew set sail on their next adventure, while a new bounty is placed on Luffy.

The second season will follow the pirates on their journeys through Loguetown, Reverse Mountain (Twin Capes), Whiskey Peak, Little Island and Drum Island. “One Piece” creator Eiichiro Oda confirmed that Season 2 will also introduce fan-favorite character Tony Tony Chopper, while executive producer Matt Owens revealed that fans can expect for Dr. Kurecha to play a major part in the second installment of the series.
Season 2 will have new cast additions such as Mikaela Hoover, Rigo Sanchez, Yonda Thomas James Hiroyuki Liao, Sophia Anne Caruso, Mark Penwill, Anton David Jeftha, Charithra Chandran, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Katey Sagal, Mark Harelik, Daniel Lasker, Camrus Johnson, Jazzara Jaslyn, David Dastmalchian, Werner Coetser, Brendan Murray, Clive Russell, Callum Kerr, Julia Rehwald, Rob Colletti, Ty Keogh, Joe Manganiello and Lera Abova.
